A magnificent elephant bull photographed in Madikwe Game Reserve.
Every day around 2 PM the elephants in Madikwe Game Reserve come down to the waterhole in front of Jaci’s Tree Lodge. It is a beautiful sight to see these huge animals make haste to get to the water and have a drink!
A beautiful elephant in a hurry on its way to the waterhole. Such an impressive sight! My mother used to call me an elephant when I stamped up the stairs in our home, but in reality elephants really don’t make a lot of noise…
Elephants are careful to protect their young – as you can see here the adults form a protective circle around the baby!
